| Description: | Football is the most popular sport in Portugal. In this sense, the Portuguese Football Federation intends to establish a partnership with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto in order to boost an educational programme for football doctors, specifically addressing the sport in the topics of medical emergency on the field (training and game), evaluation and treatment of injuries, anti-doping and the duties of the team doctor. The course aims to establish itself in the context of the UEFA Football Doctor Education Programme, establishing itself as a specific training of postgraduates and/or specialists in sports medicine in the sport of football. |
