Objectives
This course aims to address the challenges of infectious diseases in the 21st Century, namely those representing major public health threats, and to present the specificities on impact evaluation of infectious diseases on populations, their surveillance and control.
Learning outcomes and competences
This course provides a broad understanding of infectious diseases. Strategies for prevention, and control of infectious diseases are discussed, allowing the students to acquire new knowledge and skills
