Objectives
Acquisition of knowledge in Occupational and Environmental Toxicology. Recognition of the available tools for assessing risks in this area through the analysis of case studies.
Learning outcomes and competences
Lectures should provide students with theoretical knowledge essential to be critically applied in theoretical-practical lessons in which students can develop interaction and communication skills of the issues. The individual exam includes not only the theoretical component to assess the acquisition of competences and theoretical concepts but also a critical analysis of cases.

Teaching methods and learning activities
t is estimated a total of 81 hours of student work, of which 27 are of contact, distributed in weekly theoretical and theoretical-practical sessions.
The theoretical sessions are based on the traditional method of transmitting knowledge in which exposure of the materials is made orally, accompanied by illustrative audio-visual media, through the use of multimedia systems. Discussion will be stimulated to a clear explanation of the syllabus and as an indication of the interest and attention of students.
The practical sessions include discussion and analysis of cases in group to promote in the student the ability to research, analyze and synthesize information; the upgrading of skills needed for teamwork; and promoting creative adaptation of the general resources on solving specific problems.
The students will be assessed by final exam with 100% of the final grade weight.
