Abstract (EN): Vila Pouca de Aguiar an important gold-bearing region corresponds to a crustal segment with an average in Au, Cr, V, Ni and Sc content higher than the crustal average. Textural and fluid inclusion studies of the ore-bearing structures, in addition to tectono-metamorphic and geochemical characterization of the metasedimentary sequence suggests that the composition of the ore fluids were controlled by the nature and metamorphic evolution of the surrounding rocks. The estimated P-T conditions of fluid trapping are T = 500 degrees to 550 degrees C and P = 350 to 400 Mpa. This fluid evolved from peak metamorphic conditions towards lower pressures (250 to 80 Mpa), accompanied by dilution of the fluids associated with a moderate decreasing of the the temperature. Gold was precipitated under lower P-T conditions.
