Objectives

Aims, Skills and Learning Outcomes

Provide the following core competencies:
- To develop Knowledge related with removable devices, early treatment, space maintenance or recover in mixed or permanent dentition;

- To insure skills in diagnosis and treatment of agenesis, DDM, serial extractions and enucleating’s;

- To know the control of vertical growth, early chirurgical preparations and the treatment in permanent dentition;

- To be able apply dental protectors;
- To be competent in clinical orthodontic safety procedures

- Goals of early treatment; 

- Evaluation of craniofacial growth - vertical growth control;

- Agenesis, DDM, serial extractions and enucleating’s; 

- Timminf for orthodontic treatment
- indications, advantages and disadvantages of treatment in permanent dentition, pre-surgical orthodontics, orthodontic camouflage or orthodontic-surgical-orthognathic treatment;

- Dental/bucal protectors;
- Clinical orthodontic safety procedures.
