Objectives
Competence for diagnosis, treatment planning planning in the pediatric and young patients; for the exercise of integrated clinical acts of pediatric dentistry and interceptive orthodontics.
Train for integrated clinical practice of pediatric dentistry / orthodontics.
To develop the competence for malocclusion's analysis and diagnosis and to interpret changes in the stomatognathic apparatus. Deepen orthodontic knowledge and its integration in clinical practice.
Learning outcomes and competences
The contents of the seminars intend to sediment the clinical protocols. The seminars model classes provide room for emerging knowledge, clinical case analysis, sedimentation of knowledge in relevant subjects and critical reflections on clinical casuistry.
The teacher's demonstration step-by-step of more advanced clinical procedures and the student's supervised practice of clinical activity converge to the proficiency in the diagnosis and planning of a pediatric / orthodontic patient.
Clinical classes allow students to be able to apply knowledge and improve their clinical skills. Supervised practice of basic clinical acts in pediatric dentistry and interceptive orthodontics improves skills and the quality of clinical performance.
