Objectives
The objectives of the UC "Project in Dental Medicine III" are mainly related to the students' ability to idealize the "perfect" architecture for a dental clinic. In this way, they will be able to acquire knowledge that allows them, one day, to have their own clinic ergonomically set up, both for patients and for the professionals who will work there.
Learning outcomes and competences
Students must be able to elaborate a certain project and have the critical spirit to demonstrate that it has an interest to be implemented in order to contribute to the optimization of the architecture of new dentistry clinics, or to the reform of existing clinics.

Program
Seminars in which some projects in the field of Dentistry will be presented, aiming at their discussion and understanding. In this way, it is intended to arouse the interest of students in exploring aspects of Dentistry, namely the architecture of dental clinic facilities, in order to optimize patient care. The acquisition of students' skills in the elaboration of their own projects, can contribute to a higher professional quality of Dentists.

Teaching methods and learning activities
Seminars are foreseen on the elaboration of projects in the area of Dentistry. In these seminars, students will be able to present some ideas that will be discussed, being helped to define guidelines in the definition of the Arabes they intend to address. Projects for setting up offices or clinics, optimized for the provision of quality medical and dental care and with the latest technologies, may be some of the examples.
