Objectives
The main objective of this UC is for students to be able to develop projects that contribute to the well-being of a community with regard to oral hygiene habits and interest in the treatment and maintenance of their teeth. The approach to the theme of the training needs of dental students in the social area is another objective to be taken into account.
Learning outcomes and competences
Students must be able to develop a particular project and have the critical spirit to demonstrate that it has an interest in being implemented in a particular community and with a particular objective.

Seminars in which some projects in the field of Dentistry will be presented, aiming at their discussion and understanding. In this way, it is intended to arouse the interest of students in filling or implementing ways to promote, for example, the oral health of a target population.
