Objectives
The UC aims to provide students of the Integrated Master in Dental Medicine conditions, in a clinical setting, to consolidate the knowledge acquired in previous semesters regarding the classification, etiology and pathogenesis of soft and hard tissue diseases that affect the oral cavity and that make contact with its macroscopic and histological variations.Learning outcomes and competences
It is intended that students develop autonomy and the ability to make therapeutic decisions before a patient with soft and hard tissue pathology of the oral cavity.Working method

Assistance of patients at the FMDUP clinic by the students under the supervision of the teaching staff for the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies in the areas of oral surgery, oral medicine and periodontology.

The evaluation is carried out through the continuous monitoring of the clinical activity developed by the students, namely regarding the diagnosis and the clinical execution of the surgery.
The practical evaluation corresponds to 100% of the final classification.
