Objectives
The student must be able to hold a master's thesis with component investigation into the taught subjects in the study cycle. In this sense, the student should be able to carry a reflective analysis of themes and design a research
project directed to the clinical aspect of the Master. Students should have knowledge of the fundamentals of the research process in the field of dentistry, systems and information search engines on the basic and clinical research and be able to prepare, submit and publicly defend research projects. Students should be able to design and develop an investigation, from a problem by selecting the type of analysis properly given to the objectives.
Learning outcomes and competences
The program contents were defined according to the objectives and competences to be acquired by the students. The syllabus includes the understanding of the steps for the presentation of clinical cases so that the students are able to plan the treatment from the diagnostic tools and that they obtain critical capacity in the evaluation and reasoning of the clinical options. Tutoring in the preparation of clinical activity reports

Observations
The Specialization Course in Oral Surgery includes in its Study Plan the curricular unit "Clinical Activity Report / Monograph".
The elaboration of the investigation or clinical report leading to the realization of this curricular unit is guided by Professor or more professors of the teaching staff of the referred course.
The Student can choose between the following models for the completion of the course: Clinical Activity Report or Monograph.
