Objectives
The course Monograph IV is the latest in a set of four courses that focus on the investigational part of this Specialization Course in Oral Rehabilitation, in order to develop scientific works which could be published in scientific journals.
In this sense, key objectives of this course are to promote the development of scientific works which could be published in scientific journals and / or presented at public events, for what becomes fundamental understanding of research methodology, including study design, research management as well as the data and the preparation of reports, articles and scientific presentations.
Learning outcomes and competences
The student should be competent to present their work in public examinations, as well as to write a scientific paper to publish in a scientific journal.

Teaching methods and learning activities
The teaching methodologies are developed by advisors depending on the subject to prepare. As this course the ultimate responsibility of the presentations of the final work, is the responsibility of advisors to guide the development of the final work; ensure compliance with the deadlines and support the student in the presentation and discussion of the public act.

Calculation formula of final grade
Students are evaluated during the semester for the degree of compliance with the goals set by the supervisors. At the same time, they develop the clinical trials and final research to be presented in public examination with a jury, and that, along with the continuous assessment made during the school year are part of the assessment of the course.
