Objectives

Get differentiation and ability to develop sufficient skills to be able to further training of excellence. It is intended that the doctoral student of Endodontics area are able to:

-              Grasp the necessary knowledge for diversification in elite areas, particularly in new technologies, materials and equipment on a daily basis are placed at your disposal

-              Seize materials and scientific conditions available to develop perquisa programs, research and innovation in known or emerging areas.

It is assumed that the fundamental theoretical knowledge of the discipline and necessary to the achievement of practical works were acquired during the bachelor / integrated Masters.

Teaching methods and learning activities

In theoretical and practical lessons, students have the opportunity to instrument simulated root canals in acrylic blocks and in extracted teeth. They also have the possibility to use the new canalar preparation systems in patients. The same applies to newly canalar obturation techniques.

Distributed evaluation without final exam.

Students are assessed by practical work undertaken in the half year and still a summary work based on literature related to the topics covered in lectures and theoretical­practical.
