Objectives

To interpret the typology of different epidemiological studies apply and interpret different epidemiological indicators: morbidity, mortality, and risk. To identify the main mistakes of research and the main rules of research and writing according to the scientific method. To enable the selection of methods of data analysis (descriptive and inferential) and its interpretation. To be able to determine and interpret the main properties of diagnostic tests.

Learning outcomes and competences

It is intended that students will be able to design and implement all phases of a research study and having a critical analysis of previously published articles.
