Objectives

The objectives of this course are to provide students with skills enabling them to:

- Diagnose temporomandibular disorders and make the necessary differential diagnosis;
- Order the ancillary diagnostic tests most appropriate to each situation;
- Establish therapeutic measures appropriate to each disease;
- Use a semi-adjustable articulator and their facial bow;
- Apply the theory and techniques that were taught in Curricular Units Occlusion, TMJ and Orofacial Pain I and II

Learning outcomes and competences

Students who complete with success, UC Occlusion, TMJ and Orofacial Pain III will be able to monitor patients with complaints of the forum Occlusion, TMJ and Orofacial Pain.

Laboratory practice.
In these classes will be conducted clinical history, clinical examination and diagnosis in patients with temporomandibular disorders and the implementation of more consistent with the therapeutic diagnosis made.
It will also be carried out monitoring of patients already diagnosed and therapy in progress.
