Class I, Class II and Classe III Sindromes - Korkhaus classification of malocclusion.

Clinical seminars.

Complementary diagnosis.

Types of orthodontic appliances I, II, III. It will be presented de different kinds of malocclusion, with its etiology, diagnosis and treatment.

It will be presented the different kinds of orthodontic devices, divided in removable, fixe, functional and extra-oral traction.

A minimum of 75% of class attendance is required for exam admission.

Calculation formula of final grade

At the same time, students are divided into groups, making a working group about clinical cases available for this purpose.

Distributed evaluation with final exam.

Final mark from 0 to 20 points = (Theoretical test x 0,45) + (average of all practical work + continuous evaluation mark) x 0,45) + (class attendance x 0,1)

Minimum of 10 points must be achievd for approval.

Although a minimum of 9 points (in 20) is required in either theoretical and practical evaluation.

Examinations or Special Assignments

Special works or proofs are unforeseen.

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

In order to be approved, the students need  a minimum mark (9) in each component - the theoretical and practical . Those students whose statute allows them a special evaluation regime may be evaluated apart from the ordinary calendar
