Objectives
The general goals of the UC General Orthodontic Aspects II of the 10th Specialization Course in Orthodontics are:
- To insure the Knowledge of radiographic anatomy, Wits, Bjork-Jarabak, MacNamara and cervical analysis;
- To develop subjects related natural head position, esthetical evaluation of the face and smile;
- To know the condilar position, and structural signs of Class III malocclusion.
Learning outcomes and competences
The Student ought to:
- ensure the knowledge of radiographic anatomy, Wits, Bjork-Jarabak, MacNamara and cervical analysis;
- develop subjects related natural head position, esthetical evaluation of the face and smile;
- know the condilar position, and structural signs of Class III malocclusion.

Need to be present at least of 75% contact hours
Calculation formula of final grade
Presence at classes x 10% + Continuous evaluation x 20% + Final examination 70%
The final classification will bee expressed in a numeric scale from 0 to 20
Its approved the student witch the final classification is 10

This unit obeys the Rules of the Specialization Course in
Orthodontics and Regulation of the Centre for Continuing Education of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Porto. Situations not covered in these regulations follow the precepts of the rules of establishment, accreditation and the accreditation of internal training courses in the area of continuing education of the University of Porto.
