Obtaining frequency follows the general scheme of a PhD in dentistry from the University of Porto.
In the Curricular Init of CMOI for obtaining frequency, in addition to the presence in seminars, requires the presentation of theme, defined by the teetching staff in the review article format and oral presentation / poster, liable to submission to Congress or to journal publication.
The final minimum required for approval to the Curricular Unit of CMOI is 9.5.

Calculation formula of final grade

Minimum grade for approval: 10 values.

Formula for the final grade: (40% attendance seminars + 30% written work + 30% oral presentation).

Examinations or Special Assignments

Students whose status allows the system frequency and / or special assessment may request additional proof evaluation.

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

Students whose status allows the regime of special assessment may request an evaluation outside the normal schedule being safeguarded evaluation components.

Classification improvement

To obtain a grade improvement is mandatory a final theoretical examination and  have made the written work and the oral presentation.
