Objectives
The objectives of this course aim to provide skills to students within the following themes:
- The importance of occlusion and temporomandibular joint in dentistry;
- The importance of the muscles of cranio-cervico-mandibular complex in the diagnosis and treatment of orofacial and temporomandibular joint syndromes
- The relationship between prematurity and occlusal interference with muscles painful to palpation
- The details of the temporomandibular joint fundamental to the diagnosis and treatment of pain syndromes / temporomandibular dysfunction
- Mandibular kinematics and the importance of these movements in the etiology, diagnosis and therapy of pain syndromes / temporomandibular dysfunction
- Understanding the PROTAR System as an aid to diagnosis
