General principles of bibliographic research.

Determination of intrinsic and extrinsic properties of diagnostic tests. Interpretation of likelihood ratios

Interpretation of ROC curves.

Concept of bias and random error. Properties: accuracy and precision.

Strategies to minimize the effect on the level of research methodology and statistical analysis.

 

Presentation of the main differences between the three types of review. Difficulties and implementation strategies. Interpretation of results of meta-analysis articles (Forest graphs).
