Identify the different types of epidemiological studies, and their applications. While characterizing elements of design research, identify their potential question, particularly on causation. Acquire knowledge about the necessity of setting rates and methods. Apply and interpret key risk indicators. Identify the methodology applied in analytical studies. Identify the main characteristics of the epidemiological and experimental stages. Ensure comparability of groups. Selecting measures and models of reporting to appropriate features of a data set. Organize and interpret results of a statistical analysis using the SPSS statistical software. Acquire knowledge on major concepts of correlation and association. Interpret results with use of SPSS software. Acquire notions of parameter estimation (point estimate and interval). Interpret the confidence interval on a parameter, using the SPSS statistical software. Acquire knowledge of the key tests for statistical inference. Select statistical tests depending on the objectives. Interpretation of results using the SPSS statistical software.
Being able to assess the internal and external validity of the findings in different types of scientific publications.
