Objectives

The teaching of the syllabus of this course aims to enable students with theoretical and practical knowledge in the Ethics, Professional Ethics and Legislation. This form will be forwarded to the conduct guidelines are recognized as essential to professional practice of Dental Medicine.

Learning outcomes and competences

The theoretical exposure accompanied syllabus of the practical demonstration allows students to recognize the importance of taught subjects.

The relationship and interdependence between the theoretical and the practical application enables students to the achievement of learning objectives.

The dentist in their relations with other health professionals. Principles duties.

The dentist in their dealings with patients.

Ethical aspects in clinical practice of dentistry.

Professional confidenciality. Informed Consent.

Legal responsibility of dentists in relation to acts performed by them.

Continuing education of dentists from an ethical perspective.

Legislation applicable to professional dentists.
