Identification of different types of papers.
Presentation on the best approach: scientific papers, posters and short comunications.
General principles of literature.
2.
Determination of intrinsic and extrinsic properties of the diagnostic tests. Interpretation of the likelihood ratio.
Interpretation of ROC curves.
3.
Error concept of bias and random. Properties: validity and reliability.
Concordance analysis. Sources of bias and random errors. Strategies at the research methodology and statistical analysis to minimize the respective errors.
4.
Presentation of the main differences between the three types of scientific review. Difficulties and implementation strategies. Interpretation of results of meta-analysis articles (forest plots).
