Objectives

Module I Basic Statistics

The implementation of medical care based on scientific evidence is a priority. The scientific evidence is clear from the application of scientific methods and standardized careful analysis of the results. Thus, the researcher must know the means to condition the goals it sets itself to obtain the necessary scientific validity.

The statistic is presented as a necessary means of the analysis and presentation of results. Its application allows confront the cases defined by the investigator with the results and conclude, accordingly, in an objective manner.
