Teaching methods and learning activities
expositive classes, followed by problem solving classes, where the students are expected to actively participate.
small project of bibliography research on selected topics, resulting in a small report and an oral presentation in class.
Evaluation Type
Distributed evaluation with final exam
Eligibility for exams
the FMDUP rules apply.
Calculation formula of final grade
the final mark NF results from the two components, test (45%), project (45%), and assiduity (10%), in accordance with the rules of FMDUP:
NF = [0.5 * NT + 0.2 * Rel + 0.15 * Prof + 0.15 * Coleg] * 18 + Assiduidade * 2
NT: test mark: test are assessed on a 0-100% scale. minimum mark for approval is 40%.
rel: report
prof: prof mark
coleg: colleagues mark
Examinations or Special Assignments
the final mark results from:
-Test mark, on the subjects 1-4, to be assessed after these modules are lectured, in the TP class
- mark on a project, to be developed by groups of 3-4 students, within the themes of modules 5-8, with the following components:
---report (40%),
---prof assessment of the oral presentation (30%),
---colleagues assessment of the oral presentation (30%).
