Objectives
This course consists of one hour lecture and two hours of practical demonstrations per week. It intends to study the different pathologies according to their occurrence in the various regions of the stomathognatic system. The student should therefore understand the anatomical and microscopic variations presented by the lesions in each oral location. The latter are the lips, the jugal mucosa and vestibule, the adherent and free gingiva, the floor of the mouth, the tongue, the palate, the salivary glands, the edental maxillaries and the osseal pathology without the cysts. Each local pathology will be described in a first lecture followed by another lecture of discussion of paradigmatic clinical cases taken from our files. Along the course students will elaborate reports of the patients examined in the practical sessions consisting of the clinical history including the laboratory tests performed and the therapeutics indicated. Final evaluation will encompass the continuous contact with the student as well as the result of a multianswer test. The course corresponds to 3 ECT´s.

Calculation formula of final grade
Average of the marks obtained in the final examination test and continuous evaluation in the scale 0 to 20.
Final mark = 45% (practical continuous evaluation, practical exame, discussion of clinicas cases) + 45% (theoretic exame) + 10% (assiduity).
