Objectives
Intense knowledge of clinical periodontology.
Knowledge of the indications and contraindications, principles and techniques of advanced periodontal therapy
Be familiar with different therapeutic alternatives even in the most complex and multidisciplinary cases
Be able to perform simple periodontal surgical procedures
Be familiar with implant therapy and periimplant diseases
Be able to diagnose and develop a treatment plan for periimplant diseases

* Main periodontal surgical techniques
* General principles of periodontal regeneration.
* Diagnosis and treatment of bone defects.
* Diagnosis and treatment of furcation defects

* Multi-disciplinary treatment plan
* General principles of implant therapy
* Osseointegration and biological aspects of implant therapy.
* Etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of peri-implant diseases

Obtained according to the formula:
45% Theoretical + 45% Practical + 10% Attendance

In order to be approved, the students need the theoretical and practical component.
Those students whose statute allows them a special evaluation regime may be evaluated apart from the regular calendar and may have complementary evaluation.
