Objectives

The aim of Occlusion, TMJ and Orofacial Pain II is to provide students the essential basic skills, enabling them in the diagnosis of temporomandibular disorders and its therapeutics, as well as the differential diagnosis of other diseases with overlapping symptoms and signs. Apart from that, students should develop skills to plan a semi-adjustable articulator and manufacture an occlusal splint.

Orofacial pain.
Differential diagnosis of temporomandibular disorders.
Syndrome of obstructive sleep apnea.
Occlusion in implantology.
Treatment of temporomandibular disorders.
Introduction to the clinic.
Individual programming of a semi-adjustable articulator and manufacture of an occlusal splint.
