Objectives
Histology and Embryology I course unit main objective is learning and obtaining knowledge about the ultrastructure of tissues of the human body and the embryological development of tissues and organs, and is aimed at students of the second year of the degree in dentistry.
Students should develop knowledge, skills and abilities to understand the ultrastructural morphology of cells and tissues that form the various organs or apparatus of the human body and its various stages of embryological development. Moreover, they should incorporate in their development, a critical view of the importance of knowledge of the ultrastructure and development of tissue or organic in etiology of disease and its clinical manifestations.
