Objectives
Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge on Removable Partial Prosthodontics, as far as clinical and laboratory aspects are concerned.
Program
Objectives of Removable Partial Prosthodontics in Dentistry.
Diagnosis and treatment of partially edentulous patients. Pre-prosthetic preparation, obtention of diagnostic and working casts, making of individual trays, recording intermaxillary relationships, and mounting the casts on the articulator. Occlusion in removable partial prosthodontics. Laboratory procedures of frame work dentures. Placement of dentures on the mouth and adjustment. Instructions to the patient and follow-up.
Classes on clinical practice – clinical procedures required to treat partially edentulous patients with removable denture.
