Objectives

Purpose
Skill in diagnosing inflamatory lesions of the pulp, necrosis and gangrene, as well as traumatic and periapical lesions, through clinical cases; the student must be able to choose the most appropriate treatment, given to the circumstances of the patient (dental, cultural, economic) and with the agreement of the teacher, be able, to monitor and perform under his supervision.

Program

Program
The pupils perform in patients the endodontics treatments that they learned in the 4th year. The treatments are performed in of the faculty clinic, or other wise in teeth mounted on dummy.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Methodology
Students are divided in groups, monitored by a professor.
From each work the students write a report that is corrected by the profesor and reviewed in the presence of the student.
