Abstract (EN):
Complexes of copper(II) acetate, oxalate and sulphate and 1-(2-carbamylethyl)-2- alkylimidazoles (alkyl = H, Clm; = CH3, CMIm; = CH2CH3, CEIm) have been studied. The following compounds have been prepared and characterized by spectral (IR, UV-vis and EPR) and variable temperature magnetic susceptibility determinations: Cu(CH3 COO)2Ln (L = CIm, n = 2 and 4; L = CMIm or CEIm, n = 2), Cu(C2O4)(CIm)2 · H2O, Cu(SO4)Ln · xH2O (L = CIm, n = 1.5,3 and 4, x = 1 or 3; L = CMIm, n = 1 and 2, x = 2). Only for Cu(SO4)(CIm)1.5 · H2O and Cu(SO4)(CMIm)n · 2H2O (n = 1 and 2) has evidence of magnetic interactions been found. © 1990.
