Resumo (PT): Este texto tem como objectivo principal compreender como o sujeito se apropria dos novos mundos virtuais online, e como reconstrói a noção de 'lugar' nesses ambientes. Pretende ainda identificar os processos comunicacionais, comportamentais e de dominação do espaço na construção de uma comunidade portuguesa em Second Life.
Abstract (EN): This text aims to understand how the 'online self' appropriates the new online virtual worlds, and how he reconstructs the notion of 'place' in these environments. It also aims to identify the communication processes, behavioral and domination of space, building a Portuguese community in Second Life.
