Abstract (EN): Voluntary oral drug administration using sweet substances promotes rodents' therapeutic compliance while reducing stress induced by forced drug administration. We aimed to test whether rats would willingly eat strawberry jam or condensed milk from a syringe, and which one they would prefer. Our results show that rats prefer condensed milk, demonstrating its potential as a vehicle for the voluntary oral administration of drugs in experimental protocols. L'administration volontaire de medicaments par voie orale utilisant des substances sucrees favorise l'observance therapeutique des rongeurs tout en reduisant le stress induit par l'administration forcee de medicaments. Notre objectif etait de tester si les rats consommeraient volontiers de la confiture de fraises ou du lait condense a partir d'une seringue, et lequel ils prefereraient. Nos resultats montrent que les rats preferent le lait condense, ce qui demontre son potentiel comme vehicule pour l'administration orale volontaire de medicaments dans des protocoles experimentaux. Die orale Verabreichung und freiwillige Aufnahme von Medikamenten mit sussen Substanzen fordert die Therapietreue von Nagetieren und verringert gleichzeitig den durch erzwungene Medikamentengabe verursachten Stress. Wir wollten testen, ob Ratten bereitwillig Erdbeermarmelade oder Kondensmilch aus einer Spritze fressen wurden und welche Variante sie bevorzugen wurden. Unsere Versuche ergaben, dass Ratten Kondensmilch bevorzugen, was deren Potenzial als Vehikel fur die orale Verabreichung und freiwillige Aufnahme von Medikamenten in Versuchsprotokollen belegt. La administracion oral voluntaria de farmacos utilizando sustancias dulces favorece el cumplimiento terapeutico de los roedores al tiempo que reduce el estres inducido por la administracion forzada de farmacos. Nuestro objetivo era probar si las ratas comian voluntariamente mermelada de fresa o leche condensada de una jeringuilla, y que opcion preferirian. Nuestras conclusiones demuestran que las ratas prefieren la leche condensada, lo que pone de manifiesto su potencial como medio para la administracion oral voluntaria de farmacos en protocolos experimentales.
