Resumo (PT): Neste artigo pretendo analisar um argumento contra o molinismo desenvolvido por Perszyk (2003). De acordo com esse argumento, se partirmos da premissa de que não temos qualquer poder causal sobre os antecedentes dos verdadeiros contrafactuais de liberdade, pode-se concluir que não temos qualquer controlo causal sobre as ações livres especificadas nos consequentes dessas contrafactuais (e, dessa forma, não temos livre-arbítrio). Esse argumento anti-molinista é válido na medida em que o princípio de transferência (conhecido como “regra beta”) também for válido. Contudo, procuro mostrar que com uma devida reinterpretação dos operadores pode-se rejeitar esse argumento anti-molinista e, assim, não se pode criticar o molinismo nessa base.

Abstract (EN): In this paper I intend to analyze an argument against Molinism developed by Perszyk (2003). According to this argument, if we start from the premise that we have no causal power over the antecedents of the true counterfactuals of freedom, it can be concluded that we have no causal control over the free actions specified in the consequents of these counterfactuals (and thus we have no free will). This anti-molinist argument is valid insofar as the transfer principle (known as the "beta rule") is also valid. However, I try to show that with a proper reinterpretation of the operators, this anti-molinist argument can be rejected, and thus Molinism cannot be criticized on this basis.
