Abstract (EN):
This study examines Barata gully, Tepequém mountain, Amazonia, characterising the erosive feature and analysing
the physical properties of the soil. Using a DSM, orthophotos, and field data, we analysed geomorphological features,
like area of regressive erosion, banks of the channel, slopes, and pipes. Analyses revealed a silty-sandy soil, rich in
quartz, with muscovite flakes and kaolinite matrix. Erosion follows NE-SW-oriented faults and fractures, and diamond
mining increased erosion.
