Abstract (EN): In situ tests are fundamental tools for the processes of seismic risk evaluation for they have been recognized, since the early works of Professors H.B. Seed & I.M. Idriss, as the base for deriving resistance to failure, reflected in the liquefaction associated phenomena. Distinct methodologies, as much different as penetration techniques (SPT, CPT or BPT) or seismic waves velocities evaluation methods (CH, UH, DH, SCPT or SASW), have been considered in research and practice with their mutual advantages and denouncing corre-spondent disadvantages.
