Abstract (EN): The paper describes work towards a run-time management kernel for applications that use dynamic reconfiguration of FPGAs with embedded CPUs. It presents a description of the Virtex-II Pro-based system organisation, describes the overall information flow and details the software-level facilities, focusing on those aspects directly related to dynamic reconfiguration. The practical aspects of including run-time reconfiguration support in an application are also addressed.
