Abstract (EN): In our course in multimedia systems, students come from a technical, artistic or educational background. Given the nature of multimedia and the diversity of the profiles of the students we decided to use a project-based and active learning approach. An e-Learning system provides community support to the course, the learning of soft skills is promoted and peer assessment tools are used to help evaluate students’ performance. The results of the use of these methodologies are a strong motivation of students to cooperate with team-mates and to acquire and apply new knowledge during their course and in their professional lives.
