Abstract (EN): The instrument Beckman-Coulter®GEN*S® it incorporate like novelty a Investigation Screen (IS)that gives Statistical information (Mean and SD) about the main WBC population: NE. LY. MO and EO. about its position in the cube of VCS scatterplot. Previously. Mora et al., present that the CLL has a especial pattern in this IS, because in this patients appears the mean volume of LY (MVLY) usually lower than 80 with a values of Mean Conductivity of LY (MCLY) higuer than 110. We designed a protocol study with a co-operative study group (Three Hospitals), in order to analyze the paper of the IS parameters of the Lymphocyte population in the diagnosis of the cause of lymphocytosis, including during a period, all the cases with LY#>5.0 × mm3, including also a normal group of blood donors (Ngbd). The first outputs showed that we reproduce (the three hospitals separately) the same results than in the first study previously published but with different means: 1st Hospital: (MVLY) Ngbd=87 Reactive Lymphocytosis(Reac)=90 CLL=79 Other Lymphoproliferative disorders(Olpd )=89, (MCLY) Ngbd=109 Reac=l 10 CLL=113 Olpd=ll7. 2nd Hospital: (MVLY) Ngbd=82 Reac=86 CLL=74 Olpd=97, (MCLY) Nghd=115 Reac=116 CLL=120 Olpd=118. 3rd Hospital: (MVLY) Ngbd=85 Reac=82 Cll=75, (MCLY) Ngbd=l 10 Reac=l 10 CLL=114. For this reason we create aratio between the patient value and the normal value for the instrument used, and we joined all the outputs in an only series: See Table 1. We found significant statistical differences using the combination of this two parameters, comparing the Reac.(Viral Infections) with the malignant diseases. HIV has lower MCLY than other reactive processes. It is ver significant the Low Volume of the Lymphocytes in the CLL, the high MCLY (> 1.025) of all the malignant Lymphoproliferative Disorders except the Hairy Cell Leukemia in that is very low. In conclusion, we propose to use the investigation screen parameters of the lymphocyte population in he GEN*S. used like ratios of Reference Values for the diagnostic of lymphocytosis. Table I REAC CLL HTV SLVL LGL-Leuk. MM-MGUS HCL VMLY 1.018 0.898 1.012 1.177 1.045 1.032 1.478 CMLY 1.017 1.036 0.967 1.084 1.071 I.I 0.877.
