Abstract (EN):
With the usage of intelligent monitoring systems, the availability of energy data is a grown topic in railway industry, specifically for the evaluation of energy consumption and, as a final objective, for the adaptation of railway operation towards the reduction of energy consumption. This work is focused on solving the problem of estimation of the dynamic movement of a train for a given journey. In addition, this estimation is performed with a multi-train simulator, which estimates the energy consumption of a specific journey. The objective of this work is to present the mobility model of a given train, with the validation from a dataset of a real case study train. The main outcome of this work will be a train model that considers the relevant physical constrains and limitations of the train and the railway line. This model will be part of a multi-train simulator that will support a railway decision support system. © 2018 IEEE.
