Abstract (EN): The importance of (sub)cultures presence in specific territories or contexts is well known, and has merited relevant research. This paper focuses on the metropolitan light rail system – the subway – in their lines, entries-exit zones, and vehicles as they were appropriated by the punk movement. We will first and foremost analyze the city of São Paulo, between 1975 and 1985, key moments when both the first punk bands and the first subway lines were beginning to develop, as well as drawing parallels with the situation in Lisbon at the same time.
