Resumo (PT): Arquitetura da Alma é um livro de Ruy Cinatti onde o autor reflete sobre o caráter simbólico da casa timorense: uma casa-mundo, um microcosmos que reproduz o macrocosmos. A poesia de Cinatti pode a nosso ver ser lida à luz desta sua obra de antropologia. A "casa" é uma metáfora fundamental para refletir sobre as fronteiras que permanentemente são estabelecidas e sustentadas, pelo indivíduo ou pela comunidade, para delimitar os espaços de exclusão e os de inclusão, os de integração e os de exílio.

Abstract (EN): Arquitetura da Alma [Architecture of the Soul] is a book written by Ruy Cinatti where he reflects about the symbolic character of the typical house in East Timor: a house-world, a microcosms that reproduces the macrocosms. But this is not only an anthropological work to Cinatti: the poetry of R. Cinatti can also be read with this anthropological scope. The house is a fundamental metaphor to contemplate the borders permanently established and contested by the individual or by the community, to delimit spaces of inclusion or inclusion, of integration or exile.
