Abstract (EN):
Black selective coatings of electroplated black chromium and black nickel on stainless steel, and dichromate immersion films obtained on stainless steel alloys, were studied in terms of surface morphologies and optical properties. Pretreatment conditions were optimized to obtain good adhesion and selective behavior. The effect of heat treatment on electrolytic coatings was investigated. All three substrates performed well with correct surface preparation. Black chromium coatings have shown the best performance in terms of optical characteristics.
