Abstract (EN):
A new process for purification of phenolic wastewaters by parametric pumping is presented. An equilibrum (linear) model for nonmixed dead volumes thermal direct mode parmeteric pumping is developed and the influence of bottom and top dead volume magnitudes on transient separation is analyzed. Analytical solutions for batch, continuous and semicontinuous operations are presented. Experimental data on the system phenol/water-Duolite ES861 include equilibrium isotherms at 20 and 60 degree C and parapump runs for the cases mentioned above.
