Abstract (EN):
Secretory azoospermic patients were submitted to testicular sperm extraction (TESE). MII oocytes were injected with testicular sperm (ICSI-Sz), late (ELSI-Sd) or round (ROSI-Sa1) spermatids. According to the diagnostic testicle biopsy (DTB), of the 148 patients, 64% had hypospermatogenesis (HP), 12% meiosis I arrest (cMA) and 24% Sertoli cell only syndrome (cSO). The rate of a successful (Sd.Sz) TESE was 81% for HP, 61% for MA and 3% for SO. The term pregnancy rate (TPR) was 35% with fresh-Sz, 27% with frozen-thawed-Sz, 31% with F-Sd and 0% with FT-Sd. No pregnancies were achieved using F-Sal or FF-Sa1.
