Abstract (EN):
We describe new results of high-resolution numerical simulations of string-induced structure formation using a cosmic string network with cold and hot dark matter backgrounds (Avelino etal. 1997a). We also investigate the performance of cosmic string models in open universes and those with a non-zero cosmological constant. For Gamma = Omega h = 0.1-0.2 both the mass fluctuation amplitude at 8h(-1)Mpc, sigma(8), and the power spectrum of cosmic string-induced CDM fluctuations, P(k), agree well with those inferred from observations. The cosmic string scenario with HDM requires a strongly scale-dependent bias against observations.
