Summary: The CVMar+i project aims at promoting industrial innovation in the field of marine biotechnology, by proposing new products obtained from marine resources. The success of such industrial innovation depends on the synergic efforts of companies and research centres in the cross-border area, profiting from the complementary skills of the partners involved n the project. The work will be based on results obtained in previous projects co-financed by POCTEP. The goal now is to develop tools that allow companies of these areas to increase their investment in innovation, reinforcing the role of the cross-border regions (both their resources and institutions) in the blue economy.
