Summary: In a competitive and demanding sector such as textiles, functionalized products obtained using emerging technologies such as microencapsulation of active principles and subsequent incorporation in textiles add important gains and differentiation. This technology introduces new features in the tissues, presenting to the multifunctional textiles market unique features and innovative properties. The use of microencapsulation techniques allows the incorporation of active compounds in fibers, preventing their loss or release during washing and prolonging their function and durability. The development of flexible and environmentally friendly processes is also essential to more quickly respond to market requirements, thus satisfying customer needs, making this industry more competitive focusing on quality and innovation.
