The PhD in Dental Medicine lasts 6 semesters, totaling 180 credit units (ECTS). The first year includes the teaching component, in which the conditions are created for defining and consolidating the thesis topic, addressing means and tools that support its structuring and prospects for implementation; it also includes activities conducive to stimulating the creative and critical spirit and the ability to communicate scientifically to peers and the community in general. The second and third years are dedicated to the development of the research work and the preparation of the dissertation, its submission and defense in public examinations. |
