The syllabus contents of the UC are defined by the orientation team and the student. The main objective is to develop an innovative thesis that represents a contribution to the selected subject area. Thus, from the beginning of the work, it is necessary to clearly define the object of study, the respective state of the art, the methodological procedures and even the possible results to be achieved. The general outlines of the research, including scrupulous observance of the calendar, must be strictly adhered to, being essential the mutual respect and working relationship between the supervision team and the student.

The bibliography depends on thematic area to be developed and will be advised by supervisors.

The work of preparing the Thesis, although supervised by the orientation team, presupposes the student research autonomy. It implies an agenda of regular meetings and the delivery of detailed reports that prove the good progress of the investigation work and respond to the pre-established work plan.
Besides the supervision team, there is a Thesis Committee that will help the student to achieve the goals and milestones of the thesis project.
